Which Engine Oil Helps You Save Fuel?
Always check your vehicle’s manual for the manufacturer’s recommended oil grade. Using a high-lubricity synthetic oil can genuinely help reduce fuel consumption — these oils have lower viscosity, which improves lubricant distribution in the engine. While they cost a bit more than conventional mineral oils, they can help you save around 5% on fuel, which is better for your wallet and the environment over time.
