The simplest solution is a regular battery check at a trusted workshop it takes just a few minutes and can save you hours of waiting around for a breakdown service later.

Jump-Start Your Car Battery
A jump-start can get a weak battery going again, but there are a few important points to follow before connecting your car to another vehicle.
Both batteries must have the same rated voltage (typically 12V). Make sure there’s no contact between the bodywork of the two vehicles. Switch off all electrical equipment first, then connect the red jump lead to the positive terminal of the flat battery, followed by the positive terminal of the working battery. Next, connect the black cable to the negative terminal of the working battery, and attach the other end to a metal surface in the engine bay of the vehicle with the flat battery not directly to its negative terminal.
